Sandra Bursáková

Hi, I am Sandra, and as my blog name suggests, I like to travel. I have been on the road since I was two years old. At that time we moved from Prague in former Czechoslovakia to Düsseldorf in West Germany. It became my home for the next ten years.

Thanks to my dad I was always on the move. He was a globetrotter and carried himself with such ease wherever he was, always speaking the local language. I guess I have always strived to do the same.

It was later that I realized this was a lesson about respecting others, learning and observing. Today I take these values on my travels myself. Either on my private trips, or on my journeys as a journalist.
