Langbathseen

Na Instagramu jsem často vídala fotky z rakouských jezer Langbathseen. Byly tak smaragdově zelené, až jsem si říkala, že jsou určitě přisycené. A jelikož jsem každé léto v relativní blízkosti na Wolfgangsee, vyrazila jsem letos omrknout, jak to tam doopravdy vypadá. Výchozím bodem pro výlet je městečko Ebensee ležící na jižním břehu Traunsee. K přednímu jezeru Vorderer Langbathsee se autem dostanete asi za 15 minut, k menšímu zadnímu jezeru Hinterer Langbathsee asi za 30 minut. Rozhodli jsme se obejít přední jezero, v jehož průzračných vodách uvidíte nejednoho potápěče. Cesta je příjemná, většinou vede lesem a můžu potvrdit, že barva jezera je opravdu dechberoucí. Nebylo zrovna na koupání, ale voda je pitná a po túře se tu skvěle osvěžíte. A propos osvěžení – dejte si pozor na občerstvení Langbathsee Stüberl. Za čtyři nealko nápoje jsme zaplatili téměř 20 EUR. Personál navíc číhal u WC a dost nevybíravým způsobem zjišťoval, zda skutečně přicházíme z restaurace. Výhodou je bezplatné parkování na celý den.

I have always admired pics from the Austrian Langbathlakes on Instagram. I thought they were artificially saturated, because of the emerald green colors. Since I spend some time in their vicinity every summer on lake Wolfgang, I thought I might as well check that place in person. The starting point for this trip is the city of Ebensee on the south banks of lake Traunsee. It takes about 15 minutes by car to get to the bigger, anterior Langbathlake and about 30 minutes to the smaller, more hidden Langbathlake. We've decided to walk around the anterior lake, where many divers enjoy the crystal clear waters. The hike is very pleasant, the road takes you through the woods. I have to admit, the colour of the lake is truly breathtaking. It wasn't exactly bathing weather, but the water quality is basically drinking water and presents the ultimate refreshment after a long tour. A propos refreshment, please stay away from the Langbathsee Stüberl if you don't want to spend a fortune. We have paid about 20 euro for four soft drinks. The staff also monitored the restrooms and made sure in a pretty unpolite manner that you came from the restaurant. On a more positive note – free parking is available the whole day!
